I’m a UX researcher and design strategist with over a decade of experience working across civic tech, enterprise software, and experimental research spaces. My work focuses on understanding complex systems and developing strategies to make them usable, accessible, and impactful; whether that’s a government benefits platform reaching millions or a biometric prototype exploring emotional data.
I specialize in generative and exploratory research and am especially adept at generating research in ambiguous new problem spaces. I’m also comfortable designing custom methodologies, conducting quantitative studies, and translating research into strategic decisions.
I’ve worked with clients like The New York Times, the State of California, Columbia University, and Intel to solve messy, systems-level challenges.
Beyond traditional UX research, I also design frameworks, service ecosystems, and workshops to help cross-functional teams make decisions under uncertainty. I’ve taught design research, consulted on emotional data, and facilitated sessions for teams navigating real-world policy, technical, and user constraints.
